Weak Coupling of Nanoparticles with Quantum Emitters
摘要
This chapter presents a study of the weak interaction between a single spherical metallic or dielectric scatterer and a quantum emitter. We explore the possibilities of controlling the excitation and emission properties of the emitter based on its position and orientation relative to the structure, highlighting the different capabilities observed when comparing metal and dielectric nanocavities. Additionally, we examine the interaction between quantum emitters and plasmonic structures of a few nanometers under the scope of mesoscopic plasmonics and analyze the emerging nonclassical effects.
