Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) participation has skyrocketed in recent years. In terms of admissions, India is two only to the US in terms of worldwide growth. With the increase in student enrollment, India has created several programs to deliver MOOC courses to satisfy their educational demands. The current educational system has altered dramatically in recent years and is still evolving. Smart education is currently a prevalent component of educational difficulties arising from new information and communication technologies, as well as its incorporation into organizational learning. Despite debates regarding their role in educational institutions and whether student achievements are satisfactory, massive open online courses have surged in popularity in recent years. The adoption of technological advances in education has contributed to the evolution of improving people’s lives through improved instruction and learning. MOOCs are among the most recent advances in the field of higher education. The goal of this essay is to address the level of intellect that goes into online education and learning. Various MOOCs will be presented, analyzed, and examined utilizing a comparison of multicriteria analysis approaches; VIKOR will highlight the importance of internet-based open courses and their effect on educational options. The VIKOR technique is examined based on its rated performance examples, which vary depending on the type of choice problem and the decision maker’s needs.
