Economic progress and the promotion of gender equality depend on women’s empowerment. Providing equal opportunities, privileges, and access to resources for women yields manifold advantages for societies and economies. This article investigates the critical significance of women’s empowerment in Kerala, India, as it promotes economic progress and gender equality. Examining the intricate relationships between women’s empowerment, gender equality and economic advancement, this research utilises a sample of 300 teachers at colleges from Kerala. The results emphasise empowering women to attain gender equality and stimulate economic advancement. The research emphasises explicitly the positive impacts that empowered women have on poverty reduction, economic productivity, and entrepreneurship. Moreover, it ensures that women have equitable access to resources, education, and opportunities to achieve their full potential. The findings of this research hold significant importance for policymakers and stakeholders in Kerala and other regions as they strive to establish inclusive communities and promote sustainable economic progress.
