With the transformative shift in entertainment consumption, the study investigates factors such as content variety, user experience, and pricing models influencing the choices of OTT platform users. The primary data using questionnaire method collected from 100 respondents in Bangalore, coupled with insights from present literature, contributes to a wide-ranging understanding of the OTT industry. The research employs statistical tools, including Annova, to analyse user satisfaction and experience between Netflix and Amazon Prime. The findings reveal significant differences in user preferences, with suggestions provided for both platforms to optimize user satisfaction and remain competitive. This research paper aims to unveil the influences such as content variety, user experience, pricing models, affecting consumer preferences towards OTT platform and therefore to understand the factors that contribute to the success of amazon prime and Netflix in India. This research also provides valuable insights into dynamics of consumer behavior within OTT landscape. The study concludes by emphasizing the growing acceptance of OTT platforms among Indian consumers, showcasing their pivotal role in reshaping the entertainment landscape.
