Sensitives, Mediums and Conduits
摘要
In this chapter, I examine Karl von Reichenbach’s idea of Od, its connection to Swedenborgian concepts of tremulation, and relationship to theories of electro-magnetism. I discuss ideas of the body as a receptacle and medium for occult power and consider attempts to reconcile mind and body through concepts of gradation of energy. Finally, I examine the contributions of Alfred Russel Wallace to the theory of evolution, mental development and human potential.
