Epilogue: Even Stranger Things
摘要
In the epilogue, I draw together some of the themes that have developed in this book. I consider how the concept of the ether was never fully abandoned by Lodge or by Albert Einstein and speculate—fancifully—on the nature of the quantum world. I use the idea of the Implicate Order, derived from the work of the American scientist David Bohm, to demonstrate our continuing desire to see new iterations of the mysterious and the occult in the world around us.
