摘要

Hemangioblastomas, which are rare and benign vascular tumors, primarily manifest in the posterior fossa and spinal cord. While most cases occur sporadically, 20% of hemangioblastomas are associated with Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease. Neurosurgical resection is the standard treatment; however, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) provides a viable alternative with excellent local control for patients who cannot undergo or do not desire surgery. In this chapter, we review the efficacy and toxicity of SRS for both cranial and spinal hemangioblastomas.
