EnhanciGraph: Visualizing Enhancer-Gene Interactions
摘要
The process of mapping regulatory elements, such as enhancers, to their target genes is a challenging, yet crucial goal in modern biology. We have created an interactive graph tool to visualize the landscape of enhancer-gene links across the human genome by leveraging established benchmarks for enhancer-gene connections, including the Benchmark of Candidate Enhancer-Gene Interactions (BENGI) and the Activity by Contact Model (ABC). In this work, we developed a graph visualization tool, EnhanciGraph, to present the relationships between enhancers and target genes. Using EnhanciGraph, we examined the structure and statistics of the generated graphs and analyzed common edges between target genes and enhancers across different human tissues and cell types. Our tool provides researchers with a user-friendly way to understand the complex relationships between enhancers and genes across multiple tissues and human cell types.
