Analysis of Artistic Expressions
摘要
This chapter describes artistic expressions of individuals with schizophrenia within the subjectivity-frame-perspective theory. The main thesis here is that impairments similar to the language disorders or difficulties in understanding nonverbal language observed in individuals with schizophrenia can also be found in their perspectival and unified representation of artistic expressions. A perspectival and unified representation is guaranteed and conceived by the frame. Lack of perspective and frame, which are evident in artistic expressions and artworks of individuals with schizophrenia, is to be correlated with the impairment of the subjectivity of the representing subject or with its ontological instability.
