A System of Systems Foundation for Digital Asset Lifecycle Management

This chapter proposes a System of Systems (SoS) foundation in terms of high-level SoS architecture, enabling strategies and systems, as well as the minimum requirements to build a solid descriptive layer where higher level System of System Digital Twin (SoSDT) capabilities can be developed, implemented and qualified. This is expected to support Digital Asset Lifecycle Management (DALM) ambitions at any level of abstraction of the enterprise. Challenges, opportunities, limitations and future research work are also discussed.
