The regional agenda revolves around topics that cover the events taking place in the city. Therefore, this is a description of the social environment in which individuals navigate their daily lives. Accordingly, when a person comes into contact with news, they experience a number of emotional states based on the effect of involvement in what is happening. In addition, regional news can reinforce a sense of regional identity among individuals. Finally, regional news can also contribute to political polarization in society.
