Game-Theoretic Methods for Analyzing the Security and Stability of Corporate Information Systems

The chapter is devoted to the problems of applying models and methods of the theory of strategic games to describe the functioning of information systems. A bimatrix game model of the interaction of an information system with an aggressive external environment is proposed, as well as possible options for its transformation into repeated games and a dynamic game with incomplete information. The possibilities of implementing various concepts of equilibrium (trembling hand perfect equilibrium and perfect Bayes-Nash equilibrium) in relation to real problems of ensuring the security of information systems are considered. These models can be used in subsequent studies of the stability and protection of information systems, analysis of the types and nature of threats, and development of counter strategies.
