Head and Neck Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy
摘要
Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) is an emerging technique for the treatment of primary and recurrent head and neck cancers in patients unsuited for conventional management strategies. SBRT has demonstrated favorable responses and tolerable toxicity profiles for patients with unresectable primary disease or recurrent tumors. Severe toxicity risk remains, with carotid blowout syndrome a unique concern despite strategies to minimize risk.
