Extranodal MALT Lymphoma
摘要
Extranodal marginal zone lymphoma is an indolent B-cell lymphoma that most commonly involves the gastrointestinal tract, ocular adnexa, lung, skin, and salivary glands. In patients with confirmed localized disease based on diagnostic CT and/or PET-CT imaging and bone marrow biopsy, moderate dose radiotherapy (24 Gy) is considered curative with 60–90% relapse-free survival. The entire organ is generally treated given the potential for multifocal disease and uncertainty about where the disease begins and ends. Though the technical considerations of treatment depend on the involved site, all patients are treated using the involved site radiotherapy (ISRT) concept, which uses CT-based treatment planning and when appropriate, advanced radiation techniques to minimize the dose to surrounding organs at risk.
