摘要

Follicular lymphoma is an indolent B-cell lymphoma with a predilection for nodal sites, although extranodal disease may occur. Approximately 15–30% of positron emission tomography (PET)-staged patients will have localized disease at diagnosis. In these patients, curative-intent radiation therapy (RT) is recommended: involved site radiation therapy (ISRT) to moderate dose (24–30 Gy) achieves long-term disease control in 50–75% of patients. In patients with advanced disease, RT has an important role in palliation, with low doses (4 Gy) associated with high rates of disease response, extremely low-risk of toxicities, and allows for retreatment in the future, if required.
