摘要

Radiation therapy (RT) is an important component of therapy for many patients affected by diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL). However, indications to RT for advanced DLBCL have significantly changed in recent years, with indications for consolidation treatments being customized to the individual patient on the basis of the radiologic findings and of the response to immunochemotherapy. Moreover, historic concepts of radiation dose and volume have been challenged by the advent of modern imaging and RT planning tools. In this chapter, we address the most frequent RT indications in advanced DLBCL, describe how to define the target volumes in respect of the modern concept of involved site radiotherapy (ISRT) and provide a comprehensive overview of the current practice of delivering RT in this setting.
