Various factors such as economic, health, environmental, and social crises, rapid technological advancements with unpredictable consequences, globalization, and the looming climate crisis are shaping the modern landscape. Resilience, in this context, signifies society and the economy's capacity to not only withstand but also adapt and thrive in the face of diverse challenges. It can be argued that a resilient system minimizes the cumulative loss of well-being. The higher the level of resilience, the lower the losses incurred when faced with inevitable shocks that every economy is prone to experience. In other words, resilience is a condition and a catalyst for prosperity.
