Unveiling the Strategies to Restore Mangroves
摘要
Mangroves are a community of plant species that operate as an ecological framework to safeguard places during catastrophic storms by buffering the effects of storm surge and controlling erosion, dwelling alongside the coastal intertidal location. This chapter reviews the state of the research on several mangrove restoration-related topics, such as distribution and area, ecology, functions and uses, restoration process, strategies, techniques, and approaches for restoration of mangroves. Information on research on effective mangrove restoration methods is included in this chapter.
