At the end of the First World War, international maritime traffic was normalized, and Navy ships began visiting European ports again. This was the case for the armoured cruiser Pueyrredón, which was serving as a training ship at the time, while the frigate Presidente SarmientoPresidente Sarmiento (frigate) was undergoing repairs in England.
