Confronting Open Issues in Flavor Physics

Over the past decade, a great effort in the high-energy physics community has been invested in studying the exclusive decays based on the \(b\rightarrow s \ell \ell \) process, with \(\ell \in \{e,\mu \}\) . Mediated by flavor-changing neutral currents, these decays can occur only through loops in the Standard Model.
