Facets of Inka Astronomy and Cosmology
摘要
The Inkas venerated the Sun, and their emperor was said to be “the son of the Sun.” They also were aware of many stars and planets and paid particular attention to the Milky Way and the Pleiades. Horizon astronomy was used to mark the passage of sunrises and sunsets on their horizons in order to manage time for agriculture and religion.
