Models of Instantaneous Strength and Failure Time of Rheonomic Materials

摘要

The article is devoted to the development and testing of models for determining the instantaneous strength and failure time of rheonomic materials. The models are based on the principle of damage accumulation, obtained from an integral equation with the damage kernel taken in the form of a power function. A technique has been developed for determining the parameters of the damage kernel. From the developed model of instantaneous strength, analytical expressions were obtained to determine the failure time of materials under two loading modes: constant load and constant loading rate. The high accuracy of the developed models was established by comparing the instantaneous strength and failure time of nineteen materials calculated using these models and obtained experimentally (obtained by other researchers) at different temperatures, stresses and loading rates.
