摘要

This study investigates the impact of anthropometry on smartphone design, emphasizing the application of human body measurements to enhance user experience and ergonomic comfort. By analyzing the anthropometric data of diverse populations in the UAE—a significant market within the UAE—this research aim to inform the design of smartphones that cater to varied user needs in terms of comfort and usability. The study integrates both primary and secondary data sources, employing methods such as factor analysis and predictive modeling to explore how ergonomic features influence consumer preferences and satisfaction. Results highlight the critical role of ergonomic considerations such as screen size and hand dimensions, in shaping consumer decisions and reducing ergonomic discomfort. This research underscores the importance of incorporating anthropometric insights in the smartphone design process providing actionable recommendations for manufacturers to enhance user satisfaction and adapt to competitive market dynamics.
