Complexation of HSA with the Medicine Quercetin
摘要
Spectra of optical density, fluorescence quenching, changes in thermodynamic parameters, and mechanisms of energy transfer of HSA-quercetin solutions in water at different temperatures were studied. The formation of heteroassociates as a result of biomolecular interaction in the ground state, accompanied by static quenching, was established. The change in thermodynamic parameters during complex formation indicates the possibility of the existence of several mechanisms of intermolecular interaction, the predominant of which are hydrogen bonds. The energy transfer between HSA and quercetin is described by the Förster model. Computer modeling indicates complex complexation mechanisms, which, in addition to hydrogen bonds, may also include hydrophobic interactions.
