New Zealand Archaeology: History and Current Themes
摘要
This chapter first provides a brief introduction to the history of Polynesian archaeology and then focuses on how the discipline has developed in New Zealand. This is divided into two sections, one that describes how archaeology evolved there over its first 150 years, and a second that considers important archaeological research themes and questions over the last few decades.
