Artificial Intelligence and Architecture: Exploring the Intersection

This paper explores the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and Architecture and the potential AI carries in being a main element of designing and constructing buildings of the future. The objectives of this paper are to analyze the current applications of Artificial Intelligence in Architecture, study the relationship between the two topics, and investigate the role of AI in optimizing the energy efficiency of buildings. The results yielded from this paper reveal that Artificial Intelligence indeed carries a strong presence in broadening the spectrum of possibilities within building construction and building greener structures through being able to simultaneously control and compare multiple elements of building systems.
