An Investigation of Government Involvement and Green Information Systems in Driving Management Practices

This study investigates the interplay amid government involvement, green information systems, and their potential influence on green management practices within organizations. Based on the data gathered from the industries driving economic development, 214 surveys focus on upper, middle, and front-level staff members. Through an analysis, our research supports Hypotheses 1 and 2, demonstrating a significant positive relationship between the extent of government involvement and green information systems on green management practices. This highlights the crucial role of government policies and incentives in shaping organizations’ decisions to implement environmentally sustainable information systems. Additionally, green information systems are critical in influencing green management practices. This emphasizes the importance of these systems in strengthening the incorporation of sustainable practices within organizational management frameworks. Thus, these implications collectively contribute to advancing the discourse on sustainable business practices and hold significance for corporate decision-makers and policymakers.
