摘要

Entrepreneurs are widely recognized for their willingness to take risks, drive to establish their own ventures, and possess qualities such as motivation, creativity, ingenuity, persistence, and adaptability. These attributes play a crucial role in the success and quality of their businesses. In the dynamic landscape of Bahrain, often referred to as the pearl of the Gulf, the country has rapidly emerged as a prominent global hub for employment opportunities and a beacon of hope for companies. This report aims to explore Bahrain’s thriving startup culture and how the nation positions itself as a global employment powerhouse, attracting talent and capital from around the world. Startups, which are novel business models built on innovation, are dedicated to addressing existing challenges in different sectors of the Kingdom (Naqi et al. 2020). The Bahraini government actively supports and nurtures these ventures, encouraging young individuals to explore their imaginations, cultivate their ideas, and embark on the path of entrepreneurship. This study primarily seeks to assess the contribution and scope of startups in Bahrain’s economic transformation. It delves into the various stages of business development, the robust startup ecosystem, and the diverse government programs designed to support and empower startups in Bahrain. By examining the startup landscape in Bahrain comprehensively, this report sheds light on the entrepreneurial potential, opportunities, and challenges present in the country. It highlights the crucial role startups play in fostering economic growth, job creation, and innovation. Additionally, it showcases the collaborative efforts between the government, industry stakeholders, and entrepreneurs to cultivate a conducive environment for startup success (Aldrich et al. (2012).
