Importance of Continuous Professional Development and Ways and Means to Achieve It

CPD or Continuous Professional Development is termed as the experiences of a teacher which generally helps to improve professional practices and development of individual experiences. This practice is widely accepted in the world for the professional development of teachers, business, health care professionals and students. This research article aims to understand the importance of CPD and the ways by which it can be achieved and aced. For that purpose, the data have been collected with the help of a primary quantitative online survey with 111 participants who have been analysed through statistical analysis. The findings of the research have revealed that the data is reliable as the value is greater than that of 0.6 thresholds. The survey was dominated by women participants with a whopping 80% and expressed that CPD and its prices had played an instrumental role in their career and professional development. In the survey on an average of 50% of the participants have agreed that they were asked this defines that the data was correlated and there was an equal percentage who did not agree strongly. Hence, from this research analysis it can be said that CPD has helped in professional development of teachers and will further help in future as well.
