摘要

The aim of this paper is to investigate the impact of ICT use on subjective well-being of Moroccan households. We focus on four types of ICTs: Internet, mobile phones, social media, and emails. We use the Moroccan part of the World Values Survey database which covers the period 2017–2022. Results show that the impact of ICTs on subjective well-being varies depending on the type of technology under consideration. Indeed, Internet and mobile phone use have a positive but statistically insignificant effect on subjective well-being whereas social media and email use have a significant negative impact.
