An Integrated Application for the Investigation of Energy-Efficient, Non-uniformly Translating Mechanisms
摘要
Non-uniformly translating mechanisms are developed in several iterative steps. Nowadays, numerous software systems exist for the development phases. Even simple geometry software systems can be used to create and analyse mechanism structures. Specialised mechanism design software supports the user during the synthesis. The mechanism is then usually designed in CAD. Multibody Dynamics software programs are required for the dynamic analysis. To date, the computer-aided mechanism development process has been characterised by the isolated use of different software systems. This paper presents an application which comprises all phases of the development process from the motion task description through to dynamic analysis, using an examplary cam mechanism.
