Analytical Synthesis of the Seven-Bar Linkage 7-PR(RRRR)RP Used for Medical Disinfection Robot
摘要
The paper presents the analytical synthesis of a symmetrical seven-bar linkage with both prismatic and revolute joints. The analytical synthesis of the mechanism shows the high variation of its stroke and height from the minimum position to the maximum position. The main reason behind why this mechanism is intended to be further used in the development of a medical disinfection robot is because its structure allows different configurations and a large height variation between its minimum and maximum position, therefore will help solving the problem of disinfecting the hard-to-reach areas from the medical environments.
