Crises, Sanctions, Conflicts on the Way to Achieving Sustainable Development Goals

摘要

Issues such as improving the quality of education and the level of healthcare, eliminating poverty and hunger, increasing prosperity and employment levels concern every person on Earth, determining directions for economic development and many other issues become the main goals of countries, including Russia. In this contribution, the authors consider events (crises, sanctions and conflicts) that affected the achievement of sustainable development goals. The radical transformations that led to the deterioration of the demographic situation in Russia are examined. As a result of the analysis of the following indicators: public health costs, cost of living, national wealth, economic expansion, a conclusion was made that indicates a lag behind the intended course on the path to achieving the SDGs. Global crises occur in many areas due to the COVID-19 epidemic and its consequences. The main documents that reflect the sustainable development goals, measures and methods of combating global problems of humanity, and the concept of a «green» economy are analyzed.
