Economic Development of Industrial Sector: Problems, Assessment, Prospects

Currently, the economic development of industrial enterprises is determined not only by new growth opportunities and prospects, but also by some problems associated with sanctions, uncertainty and a difficult geopolitical situation. Assessment of activities of industrial enterprises is extremely important, as this is related to innovations and investment growth, and the possibility of their development in spatial and economic integration. Analysis of the main economic indicators of Russia in 2021–2023 indicates the country's transition to the economic growth based on the development of industries, clusters, and interregional industrial cooperation. This contribution investigates current issues of various types of planning and substantiates the importance of a systematic approach to planning for industrial enterprises in conditions of high uncertainty in the external environment. To solve the identified problems and test the initial assumptions, a set of interrelated research methods was used in this research: analysis, synthesis, observation. The author used methods of statics and dynamics, empirical research methods. Of great importance in this study was the coefficient method, with the help of which the economic parameters of the development of industrial enterprises were assessed.
