Conceptual Model of Business Process Management in Front End Engineering and Design

This contribution considers the application of technologies of business processes management in the context of front end engineering and design (FEED). The authors analyze the role and significance of project management systems and business analysis tools for optimization and control of tasks performance for FEED teams. Based on the analysis of the scientific literature, the theoretical foundations of the conceptual scheme for performing such an analysis have been formed, the stages of application of business process management technologies have been developed, and their content in FEED activities has been proposed. Due to the overall complexity of FEED works and the large number of participants in the process of its management, the formation of models of its optimization will contribute to the development of scientific and technical progress, economic feasibility, energy- and resource-saving technologies in developed technical solutions. The results of the study are addressed to the practical workers of FEED organizations who are in charge of maintaining the business process management system in FEED activities, responsible for the implementation of quality management systems in this professional sphere.
