摘要

Tribal culture and practices have developed as a result of natural adaptation to the harsh environmental circumstances that exist in every part of the habitat. It is believed their doctrine occupies the central or core place in a society’s culture. Tribal culture and spiritual traditions from the earliest time in India have been inspired deeply by the rhythm of nature. Therefore, tribal ecological spirituality appears to be based on some of the creeds of nature’s behaviour that the contemplatives of tribal traditions paid close attention to. The foundation for an eco-spirituality and the guiding principles for tribal people’s ecological behaviour are laid by medicine, living in harmony with nature and all of its different living and non-living creatures, the unity of nature, the interdependence of species generations, the convertibility of energies, etc. This paper explores the spiritual potentials of humanity in relation to its physical surroundings and general health, primarily from tribal viewpoints. It makes an effort to demonstrate how a tribe’s lifestyle of coexistence with the environment and reliance on a single supreme being laid the path for the maintenance of a healthy life.
