Wings for Ameliorate Leaders: Motivating Students Through Spirituality and Religiosity

摘要

Spirituality in educational institutions is spreading its importance due to its dynamic nature in motivating students. In this study, the researcher wants to explore the role of spirituality and religiosity in motivating students to give ameliorate leaders for tomorrow. Towards, that end a conceptual framework is proposed that describes how spiritual beliefs and religious background will be helpful in overcoming selfishness, anger, addiction in students, which in turn motivates them to acquire leadership skills to build empathy, trust, faith, human values, and love towards mankind. This study briefly outlines the educational spirituality to diminish stress levels in students and to improve intrinsic motivational levels in students, which assist them to accomplish their goals in a mended way. The conclusion emphasizes the development of empathy, positive attitude emotional intelligence, stress management, intrinsic motivation and leadership skills in students so that they will transform themselves as ameliorate leaders for future India.
