Change and Continuity of Tribal Religion Among Soura Tribe in Gajapati District of Odisha

Distinct in ecology, demography, economy, politics, religion and other social behavior are the characteristics of Indian tribe. In epics and puranas Souras are devoted to the Hindu religious heroes like Rama and Jagannath culture. Viswabasu, a Soura king worshiped the image of Vishnu in the term of Lord Jagannath. In 1915, United Nations establishes 17 sustainable goals to provide justice to all institutions at all levels. All the tribes should access the 17 sustainable goal strategy and let them benefitted for their all-round development. The general aim of this study is to know the change and continuity of tribal religion among Soura tribes in Gajapati district. The specific aim of this study is to know the tribal culture, to know the continuity of tribal religion and to know the changing aspects of tribal religion. It is a descriptive study based on certain explorable research questions.
