Method of Effective Counteraction Against Negative Information-Psychological Impact on the Regional Community by Using Social Networks

In the world of social networks, as in the real world, there is a constant struggle for influence over people. Today, social networks act as a “programmer” of people to their common activity. Therefore, there are tasks of protecting a person from negative informational and psychological influence, which is carried out through social networks and encourages a person to carry out certain activities. The development of methods for effective countermeasures against the negative informational and psychological impact on the regional community using the capabilities of social networks is becoming an important area of research. A regional community can be characterized by a database of narratives that circulate within it. Today, it is through social networks that both attacks aimed at negatively influencing society and operations to counter negative influence are carried out. The regional community, which has its distinct differences from the “average country population”, is increasingly becoming a target for attacks aimed at worsening the informational and psychological well-being of the regional community. The work has developed methods for actively counteracting the negative informational and psychological influence on the regional community, which take into account the specific features of both the regional community and the functioning of social networks. The methods are based on the use of social networks as a tool for countering/preventing the negative impact of informational and psychological special operations aimed at the regional community. Several problems where the developed methods can be effectively used are described.
