Indoor Airflow Simulation with CHAMÁN Code: Towards a Validated Setup
摘要
Validation for Large Eddy Simulation of indoor airflows with CHAMÁN is presented. Sixteen simulations of an experimental reference case involving mixed convection and a transitional flow were conducted for evaluation of spatial and temporal discretization sensitivity. Additionally, two subgrid stress models were evaluated, as well as an Immersed Boundary Condition approach for representing heated obstacles. The results show the Courant number to be a key parameter in correctly simulating the tested flow. Other variables are shown to have a less significant impact on the results. CHAMÁN is shown to be a robust code, suitable for the simulation of indoor airflows.
