Nanomaterials’ Modified Electrodes for Nucleic Acid Biosensing

  • Abbul Bashar Khan

摘要

Our discussion has focused on the basic components of biosensorsBiosensors, then on nucleic acids’ based biosensorsBiosensors. The electrochemistry and nanomaterialsNanomaterials also play a very important role in how sensors work. As well as improving the sensitivity, nanomaterialsNanomaterials are helpful in immobilizing aptamers due to their conductivity. For the diverse applications in biosensingBiosensing, allotropic nanomaterialsNanomaterials are developed as suitable components, and the morphology is important as well. Our study specifically deals with the use of electrochemical DNA biosensorsBiosensors to detect DNA using thiolated DNA as a capture probe, gold nanoporous-based aptasensors as well as [Ru(NH3)6]3+ electrooxidationElectrooxidation of NaBH4 forSodium borohydride (NaBH) DNA detection. Herein, summarized the considerable applications of NA biosensorsBiosensors in detecting environmental hazards such as steroid compounds, heavy metals, pesticides, antibioticsAntibiotics, and mycotoxins.
