摘要

Faculty Professional Development (PD) in its core means “change.” Continuing change in the organizational cultureculture, in individual administratorsadministrators, in teachersteachers and staff, as well as instructional, social emotional, diverse learning curricula to meet student needs. The ultimate purpose of such change is to enhance student learning. Professional development especially in international schools ultimately means “cultural shifts.” Many international schools often embody Anglo-American, French, or German school systems and their accompanying curricula, but in a different cultural context, in which students and even the faculty often represent different cultural identities. Given the worldwide discussions and debates about gender and racial identities, the idea and discussion of cultural shifts becomes even more pertinent.
