Research, Education, and Practice

The previous nine chapters have set the foundation or stage for crafting interventions at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. These interventions systematically build upon key intervention themes raised in earlier portions of the book. As a result, this final chapter provides readers with research, education, and practice recommendations for how best to work with the concept of public space to create interventions surrounding a range of public events to undertake prevention, early intervention, and tertiary interventions utilizing a set of values that stress community participation and capacity enhancement.
