This chapter contains three macro level case studiescase study/case studies that focus on systemic and institutional perspectives to examine global issues that can be addressed through CBL. Case study eleven from Dublin City University explores the demand for and design of CBL Pathways, emphasising support for university teachers. Case study twelve, a collaborationcollaboration between several ECIUEuropean Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) universities, investigates innovative use of CBL as a model for Citizenship Education. Finally, case studycase study/case studies thirteen examines the CBL continuum, an emerging tool that is of great practical usefulness for teachers in assessing the level of CBL implementation within a specific educational context.
