Acne Recognition: Training Models with Experts

Acne vulgaris is a skin condition which occurs frequently within the population. An important step in diagnosing the condition is grading the severity of the case. For this purpose dermatologists often use different grading scales and criteria. To aid this grading process, the usage of deep learning algorithms has been proposed by multiple authors. This paper explores the usage of deep learning algorithms on two separate datasets, one of which is reinforced with bounding boxes for acne.
