How Does the Act of Coining Words and Expressions Help in the Manufacture of Failure?
摘要
My first analytical tool will investigate how the political and financial establishment uses the formation of new words and expressions to assist in the process of state failure. This will present an additional insight into what makes a state fail and the way in which language can in fact gaslight the population. I rely on an examination of lexis and collocational patterns in order to determine one of the dimensions of the idea of a failed state and how it actually happens. I have searched for examples of such terms used repetitively and on a daily basis by the population.
