Selection Method of Path Tracking Points of Train-Like Vehicle Based on Minimum Pass Width of Circular

The vehicle passing width of multiple train-like vehicle is an important evaluation indicator of vehicle motion performance. In this paper, the minimum passing width of vehicle curve passing is used as the target to study the basis for setting the track points. The influence of track point setting on the passing width is analyzed by establishing the passing width model of steady-state circular curve, the results show that the track point should be set symmetrically about the center of the vehicle to minimize the passing width, and the ratio of the track point in the vehicle has almost no effect on the steady-state passing width of the vehicle. Next, consider the characteristics of circular curves and transition curves to propose the selection method of track points. Finally, a vehicle curve passing model established to simulate and analyze the curve passing results of different combinations of track points to verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis. The results show the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the validity of the proposed method.
