Introduction
摘要
In this introductory chapter, I ask how much the repetitive and systematic looting and destruction of Palestinian photos, films and even media equipment by the Israeli State has changed and altered Palestinian culture, and Palestinian society’s ability to interact with and use its own visual material. My particular focus is not the effect of plunderplunder on the Palestinian images that have been stolen, but rather on what remains of images in Palestinian possession after violence has commenced and ended.
