Exploring Passion Through Research

Some people know exactly what their passion is and have a profound explanation of how it manifests in their everyday lives. Others claim to not have a passion and experience a troubling search for it despite multiple areas of interest. While some people see themselves as passionate beings and cannot live without their passion, others consider it a disadvantage and manage to live a purposeful life without it. The current chapter presents the existing research and results on passion. Three psychological instruments measuring passion will be presented. By calculating your passion and the knowledge presented at the end of this chapter, you can consider whether our understanding of this topic is equitable enough.
