摘要

The hydrodynamics of collision-less, unmagnetized, dense viscous dusty plasma are studied with weakly relativistic electrons and positrons forming a charge-neutral background. The electrons and positrons are considered to follow the density distribution proposed by S Chandrasekhar in case of heavily dense plasmas. Instead of using the traditional reductive perturbation method (RPM) to derive the KdV-Burgers equation a different perturbation method known as the Krylov-Bogoliubov-Mitropolsky (KBM) perturbation technique is used to derive the aforesaid. The motive of this paper is yo show the applicability and importance of the KBM method over RPM. The solitary wave profile and the linear and nonlinear coefficients are analyzed numerically and their variations due to the presence of viscosity is discussed.
